Eric Asimov had a great column this morning on wines under $20. Among his “budget wines for the bon vivant” were two of our Loire whites: Domaine des Aubuisieres Bernard Fouquet Cuvee de Silex Vouvray 2007 and our Domaine de la Pepiere Muscadet 2007.
Eric’s basic premise was that the most interesting wines and the most bang for your buck come in the $10-20 range. We’re happy to hear confirmation of what we’ve long believed. Truly I think no other store has better knowledge of wines available in this range. We’re working hard so you don’t have to!
And remember save your Provisions receipt and present it at the wine store for 5% off your wine.
