Schokinag Drinking Chocolate
Just getting back from sledding in Fort Greene Park, we decided to try a couple cups of this “Artisan Chocolate”. Made with tiny bits of real chocolate, the canister boasts that after trying it “you will wonder why you ever drank instant hot chocolate.” And now we’re wondering. Even made with nonfat milk, this drinking chocolate is delicious – rich without giving you chocolate overload and not as pudding-y thick as other european chocolates we’ve tried. The final proof? Both a seven year old and a four year old finished their mugs.
Schokinag is a privately-held, family-owned chocolate company in Southern Germany that has been making chocolate for over 80 years. Schokinag Triple Chocolate Drinking Chocolate is $11.99 per 12 ounce canister (makes approximately 10 servings, though the can says 8).
